AI Usage
AI Usage is the top-level view of how much AI your organization is consuming and what it costs — the starting point for any FinOps investigation.

Open it from FinOps → AI Usage. Numbers are derived from your traces, so accurate cost requires up-to-date model pricing.
What it shows
- Total cost and token usage for the selected period.
- Trends over time — usage and spend trajectory.
- Breakdowns — by model, by agent, and by user, so you can see where consumption concentrates.
Filters
- Time range — with lookback limits per plan entitlement.
- Environment — production, staging, etc.
- Plus custom trace filters.
How to use it
- Start broad: total cost and the usage trend for the period.
- Break down by model and agent to find the biggest contributors.
- From a hotspot, jump to the Cost & Performance Metrics to weigh cost against quality, or the AI Optimizer to find a cheaper model.
